What Octopoke saves

Octopoke saves your medicine plan, your shots or tablets, your weights, your side effects and your settings.

It saves this data on your iPhone. If you use the Octopoke app on your Apple Watch, the Watch keeps a copy of your plan, your recent doses and sites, and your last weight. Only Octopoke and its widgets can open this storage. Octopoke does not send your data to us or to other companies.

What Octopoke does not do

It does not ask you to make an account.
It has no server. It does not send your data over the internet.
It does not use analytics, ads or tracking. It does not use cookies.
It does not sell or share your data.

Apple Health

Octopoke uses Apple Health only after you allow it. It reads and saves your weight. It does not read other health data.

When you delete a weight that Octopoke saved, Octopoke also deletes it from Apple Health. Weights from other apps stay in Apple Health.

To stop the access, open the Health app, tap your picture, then Apps, then Octopoke.

The sample data that we use to make screenshots never goes to Apple Health.

Apple Watch, widgets, Siri and reminders

Octopoke sends your plan, your recent doses and sites, and your last weight to your paired Apple Watch. A log on the Watch goes back to your iPhone.
The widgets read your data on your iPhone.
Siri and Shortcuts actions run on your iPhone. Apple handles what you say to Siri, under the Apple privacy policy.
Reminders are notifications that your iPhone makes. They do not come from a server.

Export and backups

Octopoke makes a file of your data only when you tap Export. You choose where to send the file.

When you back up your iPhone to iCloud or to a computer, the backup includes your Octopoke data, as for other apps. Octopoke does not sync your data to iCloud.

Delete your data

Delete one entry in History or in Progress. To delete all your data, open Settings, then Your data, then tap Delete all data. Your Apple Watch deletes its copy when it next connects to your iPhone. In Apple Health, this deletes only the weights that Octopoke saved. The support page shows the steps.

Website

The website uses Google Analytics to count visits and to see which pages help people. Google Analytics sets cookies on this website. It does not get any data from the app. Ads features and Google signals are off.

In Europe, the website asks you first. You can change your choice on this browser at any time.
