This page gives general facts from the medicine label. It is not medical advice. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about your treatment.
A GLP-1 tracker helps you remember each dose and see how your treatment goes. Many apps can do this. Here is a list of what to look for, and how Octopoke does each one.
A quick dose log
Logging a shot must take a few seconds: the medicine, the dose, the site and the time. With Octopoke, you can log a shot or a tablet from the Today screen, from your Apple Watch or with Siri. A control on the Lock Screen opens the log.
Site rotation
The labels tell you to change the injection site each week. A good app remembers your last sites and shows the next one. Octopoke shows the next site on the Today screen. See the injection site diagram.
Reminders that follow your plan
Look for a reminder at each dose. Octopoke reminds you at each dose. It moves your dose times when you change time zone, and shows the wait after a tablet.
Weight and side effects
A chart of your weight with your dose days helps you see the trend. A side effect log helps you talk to your doctor. Octopoke can read and save your weight in Apple Health.
Privacy
Your doses and your weight are health data. Ask these questions before you choose an app:
- Do I need an account?
- Does my data go to a server?
- Does the app use ads or tracking?
Octopoke has no account, no ads and no tracking. Your data stays on your iPhone. Read the privacy policy.
A tracker, not a doctor
A tracker keeps a record of the plan from your doctor and your label. It must not tell you to change a dose. Octopoke does not give medical advice.
